Job Title: Garden Centre Sales Associate (Seasonal, Full-Time)

Location: 19598 Main Street Caledon (Alton) ON
Position Type: Full-Time, Seasonal Starting end of April ending August 2026

Start Date: estimated end of April

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Garden Centre Sales Associate to join our team for the season. This position involves assisting customers, maintaining plant displays, and supporting daily garden centre operations.

Responsibilities:

Assisting customers with plant selection, questions, and purchases

Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service

Unloading shipments and moving plants and materials

Restocking merchandise and maintaining sales displays

Spacing, cleaning, and maintaining plants to ensure quality and appearance

Watering plants and monitoring plant health

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the garden centre

Supporting sales and daily operations as needed

Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic

Enjoys working with plants and helping customers

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Schedule:

Full-time hours 30-50 hours per week

Seasonal employment

Previous garden centre, retail, or plant experience is an asset but not required — training will be provided.
